Exam Pattern for BITSAT

  • BITSAT consist Physic, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology subjects questions.
  • Questions are of objective type.
  • Mode of BITSAT 2019 Exam-Online.
  • Exam Duration of BITSAT 2019 Exam-3 hours.
  • The number of Questions BITSAT 2019 Exam-150 (450 marks).
  • Marking Scheme of BITSAT 2019 Exam-3 marks awarded for each correct answer.
  • Negative Marking of BITSAT 2019 Exam-1 mark deducted for each incorrect answer.

Note- If you finish the one hundred fifty questions in much less than the allocated time, There are 12 bonus questions too. Keep in mind that you need to always strive all a hundred and fifty questions and can’t move again to them after you’ve taken up the bonus segment.

  • Physics, Chemistry both subjects contain 40 questions.
  • Mathematics/Biology subject contains 45 questions and English (Proficiency) and Logical Reasoning subject contain 15+10=25.

How to Apply

Eligibility Criteria for BITSAT

  • Subjects:

    You must have compulsorily studied Physics, Chemistry and Maths/Biology in your 10+2 or equivalent examination.

  • 12th standard or equivalent examination:

    Applicant must have passed the 12th examination of a 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State Board or its equivalent examination.

  • Score:

    Applicant must have passed your 10+2 with an aggregate of 75% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology.

    Applicant must have secured 60% in each of the three subjects.

    Applicant must be proficient in English.

Registration for BITSAT

Step 1: Filling the Application Form BITSAT

Checklist while filling the form - keep the following items ready:

  1. Check the BITSAT 2019 official website and click on ‘Apply here’ for BITSAT 2019.
  2. Enter your basic details like name, gender, date of birth, email ID and nationality
  3. Enter your examination details like score, the name of institute, year of passing etc.

Step 2: Choose Your Test Centre BITSAT

  1. Students choose 3 test centres, as per your preference (unless you choose Dubai, then you don’t need to select any other centres).
  2. Verify all the details and confirm your submission.
  3. Note down your ‘Unique Registration Number.

Step 3: Procedure Post Submission of Application Form

  1. Keep checking the BITSAT application form status to ensure that your application request has been acknowledged.
  2. If you discover any mistake in the application form that you’ve submitted, you can edit or correct the form details till the first week of March 2019.

Admit Card for BITSAT

BITSAT 2019 hall ticket/admit card has been released by BITS Pilani on their official website. Aspirants should note that admit cards will be released only for those aspirants who have booked their slots. Aspirants should preserve BITSAT hall ticket to be able to appear for the exam. Candidates without the admit card will not be allowed to appear for the exam.
BITSAT hall ticket will have details like Aspirant’s name and DOB, test centre address, time and date of the exam, candidate's photograph, hall ticket number etc.
