TIP 8
Have similar daily activity and diet plan that you will have on the day of JEE Advance
TIP 9
Take a sound sleep of at least 7-8 hours daily and on the night before the exam just revise some basic formulae etc. and do not try any new questions on that night before the exam.
TIP 10
Stay cool in the exam hall and play your natural game, just think that if the paper is tough then it is tough for all and if it is easy then it is easy for all so just make sure that you don’t miss any easy and doable question.
You must skip some questions that are meant to grab you and waste your time. In each paper, there are some questions that must be skipped by every smart student.
Exam temperament plays the most vital role in any exam. In this exam that you have always dreamt of, of qualifying for the last two years will create tremendous pressure on you but you have to handle that pressure skillfully to score a good rank.
TIP 11
Be prepared that you may get center anywhere in your city or even out of your town too. Just keep a good margin before you leave home and reach the center. Always keep a room for any problem that might arise during your travel to your center, so kindly make sure that you keep a margin of at least 40-45 minutes extra to reach the exam center
It is always advisable that you visit your center at least 2-3 days prior to your exam day so that you don’t have to wander here and there on the exam.

TIP 13
Don’t get disturbed by small irritations like sound of fan in the exam hall and unsettled furniture in the room etc or may some other type of annoying noise. In fact try out some topic wise and full tests in an online format on our website in Previous Year and Model Test Papers Section of our website and even you can “Create your own Topic wise Tests” on our website.
TIP 14
You can only expect the unexpected in the JEE-Advanced so you must carefully read all the instructions before you start your JEE Advance paper a JEE people are known to surprise you with some surprising elements.
TIP 15
Before you start attempting the paper you must browse the whole paper just for identifying which section of the paper is easier and then you can plan with easier section or even you can start with your own favorite subject.
Try to finish off chemistry in comparatively lesser time and you should try to finish chemistry in around 45-50 minutes if it is of moderate level and devote the extra saved 10-15 minutes to mathematics.
Physics should be given around 60 minutes if you find physics to be of moderate level and if you find it too hard try some easy questions of physics and for rest of the time try attempting some easy questions of some other subject like mathematics or chemistry so that you can score higher by attempting some easier problems. Follow the same strategy if you find mathematics comparatively harder.
TIP 16
While attempting a question we must never think of any other question. This can affect our confidence and speed of attempting other questions of the paper. You must read the question carefully plot its figure clearly in needed and then start solving the question.
TIP 17
In exams which need both objective and subjective approach, you must be very careful in solving questions which have multiple answers as solving such a question is almost equivalent to solving 2 or 3 correct problems. So you need to be very careful in attempting these kinds of problems if they have negative marking.
Guessing an answer is also very important in such exams but don’t go just for probability-based approach only rather try to eliminate 1 or 2 options and then you can guess the right answer.
If some questions do not have any negative marking then you must attempt them and if you are short of time even you must mark its answer anyhow.
TIP 18
Do carry a couple of good HB pencils, an eraser and a blue/ black ballpoint pen with you in the exam hall. You must start filling your OMR Sheet carefully at least 30 minutes prior to ending of the exam.
Take utmost care in OMR filling because it is the most critical part of paper solving. Darken the bubbles most carefully and correctly.
TIP 19 (What to do during the break)
Avoid discussing the 1st paper with your friends during the break. Right after JEE Mains exam avoid sleeping in day time at any cost as generally, students feel sleepy in the 2nd session of the exam between 2 PM to 5 PM and also avoid eating heavy food during the break.
