This website (studysteps.com) is a hosted service operated by StudySteps Holdings, INC. Throughout the following Terms and Conditions, the terms “we,” “us,” “our,” “StudySteps,” and “studysteps.com” refer to the operators of the website studysteps.com. Any use of the Service is subject to the following Terms and Conditions. Your use of the Service will constitute your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

1. ELIGIBILITY

Use of the Service is void where prohibited. The Service is for users of all ages. For children under 13, StudySteps requires parental consent. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:
a) all registration information you submit is truthful and accurate;
b) you will maintain the accuracy of such information; and
c) your use of the Service does not violate any applicable law or regulation.

2. YOUR STUDYSTEPS ACCOUNT AND DATA

If you create an account on the Service, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and data, and you are fully responsible for all activities that occur under the account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized uses of your data, your account, or any other breaches of security. StudySteps will not be liable for any acts or omissions by you, including any damages of any kind incurred as a result of such acts or omissions.

StudySteps may from time to time set storage limits for your data or take any other measures it considers appropriate to manage the Service. StudySteps may also from time to time change its policies on offering commercial content or displaying advertising, and may do this without notice.

3. PAID SUBSCRIPTIONS

Users have the option to purchase additional features or functionality for their StudySteps account (“paid subscriptions”). These upgraded memberships may be purchased by paying a recurring subscription fee. The terms stated below will govern your participation in these programs.

Subscription Cancellation by You: If you have purchased a recurring paid subscription, you may cancel auto-renewal at any time. When you choose to cancel auto-renewal, your paid subscription will not renew on the next auto-renewal date. You may continue to enjoy your upgraded membership benefits until that date, after which your account will be downgraded.
Cancellation by Us: We may cancel your upgraded membership at any time for any reason, with or without prior notice. This would imply a refund of the proportional part of the subscription paid but not used unless the cancellation is due to a violation by the user of these Terms and Conditions.
Price Changes: StudySteps may change the price for upgraded memberships from time to time. StudySteps will communicate any price changes to you in advance and, if applicable, how to accept those changes. Price changes for upgraded memberships will take effect at the start of the next subscription period following the date of the price change. As permitted by local law, you accept the new price by continuing to maintain your StudySteps upgraded membership after the price change takes effect. If you do not agree with the price changes, you have the right to reject the change by unsubscribing from the upgraded membership before the price change goes into effect.

4. PROHIBITED CONTENT AND ACTIVITIES, AND RESPONSIBILITY OF CONTRIBUTORS

If you create worksheets or exercises, comment via the discussion boxes, post material to the Service, post links on the Service, or otherwise make material available by means of the Service (referred to collectively as “Content”), you are entirely responsible for the composition of, and any harm resulting from, that Content.

The purpose of the Service is education, and users are asked to post only education-related Content. The following are examples of the kind of Content that is illegal or prohibited to post on or through the Service. StudySteps reserves the right to investigate and take appropriate legal action against anyone who, in our sole discretion, violates this provision, including without limitation, removing the offending Content from the Service and terminating the accounts of such violators. Prohibited Content includes, but is not limited to:

Content that is offensive, promotes hatred, or harasses others.
Content that violates the privacy, copyright, or other proprietary rights of any person.
Spam, phishing, or any other harmful material.

Additionally, the following are examples of prohibited activities:

Criminal or tortious activity, such as copyright infringement, fraud, or spreading malware.
Circumventing security features of the Service.
Unauthorized commercial activities or using others’ accounts without permission.

By making Content available, you represent and warrant that it complies with applicable laws and does not infringe on the rights of others.

5. RESPONSIBILITY OF SERVICE VISITORS

StudySteps has not reviewed, and cannot review, all Content posted to the Service. StudySteps does not represent or imply that it endorses the material posted on the platform or that it believes such material to be accurate or non-harmful. You are responsible for taking precautions to protect yourself and your devices when using the Service.

6. CONTENT POSTED ON OTHER WEBSITES

StudySteps does not control content made available through external websites and is not responsible for any harm caused by third-party content linked on its platform.

7. REGISTRATION OF STUDENTS

If you register your students or invite them to register under your account, you must obtain explicit consent from them or their parents/guardians if required by local laws.

8. COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT AND DMCA POLICY

If you believe that material on StudySteps infringes your copyright, you are encouraged to notify us in accordance with The Indian Copyright Act 1957. StudySteps may remove or disable access to the infringing content as necessary.

9. CHANGES

The Service, including its content and Terms of Service, may be updated or changed at the sole discretion of StudySteps.

10. LIMITATION OF WARRANTIES AND LIABILITY

StudySteps provides the Service “as is” and disclaims all warranties, express or implied. StudySteps, its suppliers, and licensors will not be held liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service.

11. GENERAL REPRESENTATION AND WARRANTY

By using the Service, you agree to comply with StudySteps’ Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, and applicable laws.

12. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless StudySteps and its affiliates from any claims or expenses arising from your use of the Service.

13. MISCELLANEOUS

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and StudySteps and will be governed by the laws of India and it will be under jurisdiction of local state only.
